Anne Phung Nguyen
My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my incredible husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My followers are mostly on my Instagram account @annephung. This is where I share my life story. The highs, the lows, and everything in between. In 1990 I moved to America along with my brother and parents at the age of one and half. Without my parents' love of hard work and sacrifice it is likely that I would not share my journey. As a child, I knew that I could have a shot for a better life, I worked hard to impress them and was a shrewd entrepreneur when it came to achievement. Within my head, I had a plan for life. Attend college, and graduate. Be married. Get a home. Have kids. Although I was convinced that this was the ideal definition of successful, my life was not following the goals. The year was 2013, and I found that I hated going to work at my corporate job. The status and the money didn't inspire me. I thought I was wasting time for an income. My love of fitness and my love of socializing with people helped me find my new calling as a personal trainer. I began my business in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its seventh birthday this year. It is rare to find Asian females working in the field. Within the field of coaching I would like to change the world by providing quality training to help others become healthier and more content. Additionally, I want to encourage people to pursue their desires and accomplish whatever they would like to in life. As my career was taking off, I suffered the most devastating loss in my entire life to datein the death of my Mom. She has won the eight-year struggle with Scleroderma. She is now resting in Heaven and I will keep her in my heart. It's incredible how life will teach us the exact lessons we need even if we aren't aware of that it is there. My mom's death changed my life in so many ways. I am convinced that my Mom gave me another chance at life through her death. She died at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to enter her next life. I was given a second chance to live the life of a fulfilled and happy. When I reach the 30's I am more alive than ever. It is true that I am living my life now, instead of merely living like I was before. In sharing my story, I hope that my story will be a source of inspiration for you. My hope is to help you realize that you're not alone. That you have the potential to accomplish anything that your heart desires. I pray that you live the life you want to live and that you die without regrets, as death is the only possibility that awaits us in our life.
