Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. In her last fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd's win was a majority decision and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
